DeckLink Sink

A multimedia component that outputs audio & video to one ore more DeckLink boards.

Overview

• DLL Name: MGDeckLinkPXT.dll

MediaLooks DeckLink Sink is a development component designed for playing out media via a DeckLink board.

The component is a COM object designed to interact with some other components by MediaLooks and can be used within any COM-enabled development environment. No DirectShow expertise is required to use the component.

DeckLink Sink is available in DeckLink SDK, Playout SDK, the Multimedia SDK or Vision Mixer SDK.

Possible Uses

• A playout application with output to DeckLink such as the sample provided with our Playout SDK.
• An export to a tape application.
• Quality preview during video production.
• Software vision mixing application with output to DeckLink such as the sample that comes with our Vision Mixer SDK.

Features

• Use several boards at a time and configure them independently.
• Easily select boards, inputs, outputs (YCbCr, SDI, etc.) and formats.
• Manage external devices via RS-422.

• Automatic scaling of video as required by output card (PAL, NTSC, HD720, HD1080) and conversion of color space (UYVY, RGB).

MultiGraph Features

• Start/stop output without stopping preview.
• Seamless (without black flash or delay) switching between input sources.
• Output to 2 or more boards at a time.
